This is the tail end of a cart path we resurfaced/constructed from 16, 17 , and finally here at the beginning of 18.  Notice the s curve at the end of the path, this gets carts to exit at different points rather than just the end of the path.  This is illustrated pretty well if you look at the tire tracks in the grass.

 

 

 Next question you may have "Why doesn't the fountain work any more?"  It was taken off line because it isn't safe potable water.  It is in a line a few inches below the 18th fairway, too close to the surface for it to remain uncontaminated.  We hope to move this to the 5th hole area and plumb it with potable water.
