A 1852 map of the location of the club.  Rocky Meadow Brook, Westfield St. and Summer St. are good spots to get your bearings.  The 17th pond is visible, as is the ridge that the clubhouse sits on and the mound that the 11th green sits on.

Golfweek's Mention of DCPC

MassGolfer -In this article you see not only Seth Raynor mentioned, but DCPC old pro Willie Ogg as well.  The article incorrectly identifies the 1902 DCPC layout as a Ross, we later found out that Ross did the 1915 layout.  Given the timing of Ogg at the club shortly after Ross, and his short tenure, we no longer believe that Ogg made any major adjustments to the design of the course.  We still don't know who did the original 1902 layout, but Alex Findlay is my guess.  Findlay's materials reference work at Dedham, and he was playing alot of golf in the Boston area at the time.

DCPC 1929 Scorecard and 70's Scorecard backpage - The 1929 course is missing the current third hole and the current 18th was split into two holes.  Another note is that the ninth (the eighth back then) is playing really short because the land behind the current stream had not been purchased.  I included the back of the 70's card to show some of the peculiar local rules of the time.

Here is a new series of graphics we will be uploading to the site over the next few months.  This series consists of historical plans of the golf course.  The first one is the 1915 Ross designed 9 holer.  We did some drawing and coloring to help the holes stand out...it looks like a fine golf course.
