Drainage Plan - Six years ago no one had any idea what there was for drainage.  There were plans to install drainage  starting with the first hole for $43,000. Following this path, the club would have spent several hundred thousand dollars to do all the holes that needed drainage.  We found, documented, and repaired all the drainage on the course (3 miles worth) for $11,000.

Irrigation Primer - Six years ago when arriving here, the irrigation system was in disrepair.

Managing Organic Matter in Greens- a slideshow's look at the elements of maintenance that go into maintaining firm conditions, good root growth, smooth putting, and thatch removal.

Lab Results documenting our progress in thatch management on greens is  here.  This is a pdf from a lab where we have our soil profile tested.  One can see the dark thatch layer on the left and the result of three seasons of modifications.  We use these results to help determine what our topdressing and aeration programs will consist of.  This is how we decide what size tines, how deep, and how frequently we aerate.

Compost Toilet-slide show of installation.  This was the most cost effective option we could find for this area of the course, saving close to $70,000 in pumping and septic costs.

DCPC List of Accomplishments an overall look at what has been accomplished.

Accomplishments before and after pictures.  This is a pdf of a power point presentation.  You will see, that we have gone from a very busy manufactured look with striping and an over planting of ornamental trees to a very clean, traditional, natural course.  The overall feel of the course has changed.
